1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Lather & Lore website and your purchase of products from our online store. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Lather & Lore. Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.
2. Products & Botanical Formulations
All descriptions, imagery, and specifications of products on our store are published for illustrative purposes. Because our cold-process soaps, bath bombs, and botanical candles are handcrafted and naturally formulated, subtle variations in texture, hue, pattern, and natural essential oil aroma may occur between batches.
Our products are intended for external cosmetic and aromatherapy use only. If you have known allergies or sensitive skin, please consult the ingredient listing provided on each product packaging prior to application.
3. Orders & Payment
All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP) inclusive of applicable UK VAT. Delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout prior to order submission.
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. A legally binding contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of your items via Royal Mail.
4. Right of Cancellation & Hygiene Exceptions
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods.
Important Hygiene & Health Protection Notice:
In accordance with Regulation 28(3)(a) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations, the statutory right of cancellation does not apply to goods which are unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons (including unsealed bath bombs, soaps, face bars, and personal body cosmetics).
Items eligible for return must remain in their original, sealed, tamper-evident packaging and in unused condition.
5. Delivery & Risk
We dispatch orders via Royal Mail Tracked delivery across the United Kingdom. Risk of loss or damage to items passes to you upon delivery to the designated shipping address.
6. Governing Law
These terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with your purchase shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
